Cannabis Testing
Cannabis Drug Testing - refers to any testing options used to test tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). These methods could be used to test in the following areas: Medicine, Sport, and Law. Cannabis can be found in all the testing options but each of the options has a longer period of detection. Urine Tests can be found for 30 days, saliva after one day, hair follicle tests can be found for 90 days and lastly, cannabis can be found in the blood for 14 days.
Cannabis testing is different from testing for alcohol because you cannot just blow into a breathalyzer and tell you how much Cannabis is active in your breath. Cannabis tests cannot determine the amount of Cannabis in the body and just that has actively been found in the test, some things that can influence Cannabis in your body are Age, Body Mass index or body fat percentage, food intake and liver functionality.
The amount of THC found in any of the various tests can show that it is currently present, how long it has been since its last use, how much has been taken and how long it was used for.
